2 – PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT AND USE

2.1 Contact Us.
In connection with your inquiries through the Contact Us function on our website, we collect personal data. The data we collect in these cases may include first name, last name, country, address, telephone number, email address, company, department, category of inquiry (after-sales products, recruitment, sustainability activities, corporate information, media and public relations), subject of inquiry, and message of inquiry. We use this information to understand and respond to your inquiry. The personal data described in this paragraph is referred to as “Inquiry Data.”

2.2 Customer Service.
We may provide customer service at our facilities, at our customers’ facilities, by telephone, and through our website. In providing customer service, we may collect personal data from you, such as your name, address, email address, telephone number, product purchases, product sales, and other data related to your service request. We use this information to investigate, resolve, and respond to your customer service issue. The personal data described in this paragraph is referred to as “Customer Service Data.”

2.3 Social Media.
If you choose to participate in one of our sponsored social media activities or offerings, we may collect certain data from your social media account in accordance with your settings within the applicable social media service, such as location, visitor log, activities, interests, photos, status updates, and friends list. We may also allow you to participate in contests to provide photos, such as of products you have purchased, which you can share with your social media connections for votes, shared offers, or other promotions. We use this information to provide data about our products and services and to understand our customers’ needs and preferences. 2.4 Warranty Program.
We may collect personal data in the course of our warranty and recall administration. We typically receive this personal data from our business customers (as defined in Section 6) to administer such requests. The personal data we may receive in these cases includes your name and address, and may include other personal data such as vehicle identification number (VIN) and geolocation data. The personal data described in this paragraph is referred to as “Warranty Data.”

2.5 Automatically Collected Personal Data.
By their very nature, this website and the applications created and maintained by us, which are subject to this Privacy Policy, also automatically collect personal data about you (the “Applications”). In order for you to view or interact with this website or the Applications, we receive individual identifiers such as your IP address and certain network data such as the date and time pages are viewed. We may collect this personal data even if you are not logged in. We collect certain personal data automatically using cookies or other tracking technologies as further described in Section 7 below. Automatically collected personal data may be collected by or on behalf of third parties who may provide us with inference reports or aggregate reports based on the analysis of such personal data. 2.6 Employees.
We collect personal data in the context of your role as an applicant, employee, director or officer of our business. The personal data we collect in these cases may include your name, social security number, address, date of birth, gender, race, ethnicity, bank account information and routing number, tax filing status, emergency contact information, telephone number, names of family members, educational background, criminal record and employment history, medical provider information, the name, date of birth, gender and address of your dependent(s), health insurance provider, compensation and benefits information, place of work and job title. We only use this data to assess qualifications related to your application for employment or job duties, to evaluate your performance, or to provide compensation, benefits and services in the context of the employment relationship. 2.7 Individuals representing companies.
We collect personal data in the context of your role as a representative of a company. The personal data we collect in these cases may include your name, address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, social security number and personal financial data. We use this data to communicate with you as a representative or owner of a company in order to assess your creditworthiness. The personal data described in this paragraph is referred to as “Business Representative Data”.

In addition to the information we collect directly from you, we may also infer information about you from data you provide to us or from other data we collect.

3 – SOURCES OF THE PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

Auditing related to a current interaction with you, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying the position and quality of ad impressions, and verifying compliance with this specification and other standards.

4.2 Security.
Help ensure security and integrity to the extent that the use of your personal data is reasonably necessary and proportionate for these purposes.

4.3 Debugging.
Debugging to identify and repair errors that affect existing intended functionality.

4.4 Transient Use.
Transient, short-term use, including, but not limited to, non-personalized advertisements served as part of a consumer’s current interaction with us, provided that your personal data is not disclosed to a third party and is not used to build a profile about you or otherwise alter your experience outside of the interaction with us.

4.5 Services.
Provide services on our behalf, including maintaining or managing accounts, providing customer support services, processing or executing orders and transactions, verifying customer data, processing payments, providing analytics services, providing storage services, or similar services on our behalf.

4.6 Advertising.
Provide you with advertising and marketing services.

5 – LIMITED USE OF PERSONAL DATA

6.5 Third Parties.
