This privacy policy (this “Policy”) applies to RA Autoparts and its affiliates in North America (“we,” “us,” or “our”). While this policy broadly describes the practices we have adopted in North America, local laws vary and some territories may impose restrictions on our collection, use, or disclosure of personal data. Our practices in such territories may be more limited than those described in this Policy to comply with local requirements.

By accessing or using our websites or submitting information to us, or otherwise agreeing to this Policy, for example when you register for our products or services, you understand and agree to our collection and use of your personal data as described herein.

The personal data described in this paragraph is referred to as “Business Representative Data”.

In addition to the information we collect directly from you, we may also infer information about you from data you provide to us or from other data we collect.

3 – SOURCES OF THE PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT

We may collect personal data about you from a variety of sources in addition to the means of collection set out above, including offline or through sources unrelated to your use of this website. For example, we may collect personal data from publicly available sources (e.g. property registers), directly from a third party (e.g. credit reporting agencies or customer due diligence providers), or from a third party with your consent (e.g. your bank). We may merge or combine that personal data with personal data we maintain about you and other data collected on or through this website. Categories of sources from which we may collect personal data include advertising networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers, government entities, operating systems and platforms, and social networks.

4 – PURPOSES FOR WHICH WE COLLECT PERSONAL DATA

In addition to the purposes set out in Section 2 above, we may collect your personal data for the following purposes:

4.1 Auditing.
Auditing related to a current interaction with you, including, but not limited to, counting ad impressions to unique visitors, verifying the position and quality of ad impressions, and verifying compliance with this specification and other standards.

Carry out activities to verify or maintain the quality or safety of our products and services and to improve, update or enhance our products and services.

5 – LIMITED USE OF PERSONAL DATA

We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it unless we reasonably determine that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. For example, we consider de-identification, aggregation and other forms of anonymization of personal data to be compatible with the purposes listed above and in your interest, given that anonymization of such data reduces the likelihood of inappropriate disclosure of such information.

If you wish to receive an explanation as to whether processing for a given purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us using the details specified in the Contact section below.

6 – OUR DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL DATA

In order to provide you with the best products and services, we may disclose your personal data to our affiliates, service providers, contractors and other third parties as described below.

6.1 Affiliates.
We may disclose your personal data to our parent company and affiliated entities under shared corporate control (“Affiliates”) for the purposes described in Sections 2 and 4 above.

6.2 Business Customers.
We provide services and products to major automotive manufacturers and other business customers. We may share your personal data with automotive manufacturers and customers who offer their own consumer products and services. For the purposes of this Policy, these are referred to as “Business Customers.”

6.3 Contractors.
We disclose personal data to entities that help us fulfill a business or commercial purpose, including, but not limited to, shipping companies and distributors that deliver our products to you (“Contractors”). Contractors are not permitted to sell or share your personal data or use your personal data except to perform tasks assigned to them by us.

6.4 Service Providers.
We disclose your personal data to companies that process personal data on our behalf for business or commercial purposes, including, but not limited to, website hosting, application design, database management, web analytics, application analytics, billing, payment processing, and communicating with you about our products or services (“Service Providers”). Service Providers are not permitted to sell or share your personal data or use your personal data except to perform tasks assigned to them by us.

6.5 Third Parties.
In addition to the third parties in the categories above, we may disclose personal data to the following categories of third parties: advertising networks, internet service providers, data analytics providers, government entities, operating systems and platforms, social networks, and data brokers. For the purposes of this Policy, a “third party” or “third parties” are entities that may sell, retain, use or disclose personal data for purposes that go beyond providing services directly to us for our business or professional purposes.

6.6 Compliance with Laws.
We cooperate with government and law enforcement officials and private parties to enforce and apply the law. We may disclose your personal data to government or law enforcement officials or private parties in response to legal requests when we believe that disclosing or sharing such data is necessary to comply with any legal obligation, enforce or apply our terms and conditions, respond to claims and legal process, protect our services, our members, our dealers, our rights and/or the safety of the public or any person, or prevent or stop any unlawful, unethical or actionable activity (including for fraud protection purposes).

6.7 Sale or Transfer of Business or Assets.
We may disclose your personal data, in whole or in part, in connection with a merger, consolidation, bankruptcy or other transaction in which another entity assumes control of all or a portion of our business. If another company or person acquires our business or assets, that company or person will possess the personal data collected by us and will assume the rights and obligations regarding your personal data as described in this Policy.

7 – COOKIES AND OTHER TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Third parties, including Google and Facebook, may use cookies, pixels, web beacons, and other storage technologies to collect or receive data from this website and elsewhere on the Internet and use that data to provide measurement services and targeted ads. You may opt out of the collection and use of data for ad targeting by using the options described in the Opt-Out section below. The tracking technologies we use include:

7.1 Cookies.
We may use different types of cookies in providing different types of web services. If you do not know what cookies are, or how to control or delete them, we recommend you visit www.aboutcookies.org for detailed advice. Cookies allow us to identify and authenticate visitors, track aggregate behavior, and enable important service features. We use both session ID cookies and persistent cookies. Session ID cookies are used to maintain the state of your browser while you access the services, and they expire when you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive for an extended period, and we use it to identify you in case you return to the services and want to find information you have previously entered or accessed.

We may also employ analytics service providers, third-party affiliate service providers, and third-party advertising agencies to compile similar data. These cookies allow the ad servers to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement and to compile data about you or others who use your computer. This data allows these ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that we believe will be of most interest to you.

You may disable cookies through your web browser. For information on how to opt out of these collection services, please see the Your Choices section below.

7.2 Analytics.
We may use analytics tools or similar tools provided by third parties (“Data Analytics Providers”) to analyze how you and other users use our services. Analytics tools use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect data such as how often users visit this website, what pages they visit, and what other websites they have viewed before visiting this website. We use the data we obtain from analytics tools only to improve the services. Analytics tools collect the IP address or other unique identifier assigned to you on the date you visited this website or used our services. We do not combine the data generated through the use of analytics tools with your other personal data. Analytics tools provided by third parties plant a persistent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this website, and the treatment of that information is governed by the third party’s terms of use and/or privacy policy. 7.3 BY USING THIS WEBSITE, YOU CONSENT TO US SHARING YOUR DATA WITH THESE PROCESSORS, AND TO THEM TRANSFERRING THIS DATA TO THEIR PARTNERS IN CONNECTION WITH THE PROVISION OF SERVICES.

8 – DISQUALIFICATION

You may make the following choices regarding your personal data:

8.1 Promotional and Other Emails.
During the account registration process on one of this website, you may choose to provide us with your email address in order to allow us to send you newsletters, surveys, offers, and other materials related to our services, as well as for other purposes described in this Policy. You may stop receiving these emails by sending a request to the email address in the Contact Us section below. If you choose not to receive these emails, we may still send you communications related to your current or previous membership.

8.2 Behavioral Advertising.
Our Services may use behavioral advertising. This means that a third party may use technology (for example, a cookie) to collect data about your use of this website in order to display advertisements about products and services tailored to your interests. Such advertising may appear on this website or on other websites not operated by us. If you do not want third parties to collect data about your use of our Services, you may opt out of this use through the Digital Advertising Alliance in the United States, the Digital Advertising Alliance of Canada in Canada, or the European Digital Advertising Alliance in Europe.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OPT-OUT OF BEHAVIORAL ADVERTISING DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE ADVERTISING WHILE USING THE SERVICES. HOWEVER, IT WILL OPT-OUT OF INTEREST-BASED ADVERTISING THROUGH PARTICIPATING NETWORKS AS MANDATED BY THEIR POLICIES AND CHOICE MECHANISMS.

8.3 Analytics.
Many analytics service providers allow end users to opt out of the retention of their data, including our third-party analytics service providers. Please note that, generally, unless you create an account with the analytics service provider, your opt-out choice applies only to the device from which you make the request, as the providers use cookies on that device to recognize your choice. If you get a new device, install a new web browser, upgrade your browser, or otherwise delete or modify your browser’s cookie files, the opt-out cookie may be deleted.

You can learn more about our third-party vendor’s use of data and how to opt out of analytics by visiting their opt-out page at the following links:

8.4 Cookies.
You may disable or delete cookies in your web browser, but doing so may affect the usability of this website. To block cookies, you may also access our service using your browser’s anonymous usage settings (called “Incognito” in Chrome, “In Private” in Internet Explorer, “Private Browsing” in Firefox and Safari, etc.).

8.5 Do Not Track.
This website recognizes and responds to “Do Not Track” requests made available through many popular web browsers. If we recognize that you have enabled one of these “Do Not Track” signals, we will not track or sell data contained in cookies about your online activities.

9 – INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Your personal data may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries where the laws regarding personal data may be less strict than the laws in your country. Therefore, in some circumstances, you may have no legal recourse for a breach of your privacy or other prohibited use in your country. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storage and/or processing, including all associated risks.

10 – DATA SECURITY

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. We strive to protect your personal data from improper or unauthorized loss, misuse, access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. If you have any questions about the security of your personal data, please contact us via the email or regular mail address specified in the Contact section below.

11 – DATA CONSERVATION

We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which we collected it as set out in this Policy, including for the purposes of complying with any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

12 – THIRD PARTY LINKS

This Website or Applications may contain links to other websites or applications. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites or applications. You should read the privacy policy of these other websites or applications to understand their policies. When you access linked websites or applications, you may be disclosing private information. It is your responsibility to keep such information private and confidential and to control the collection and processing of your personal data.

13 – CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, at our sole discretion. When we do so, we will post it on this website. You should check this Policy regularly for any changes. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of such changes constitutes your acknowledgement of such changes and your agreement to be bound by the changes.
